Founded in 2012, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride ("DGR") is an annual motorcycle fund-raising event aimed at increasing awareness of prostrate cancer, and raising funds for a cure.
Motorcycles eligible to take part in the ride include cafe racers, bobbers, classics, retro machines, flat trackers, scramblers and "quirky, undefinable two-wheeled machines".
Entry is free of charge. In return, riders are encouraged to simply raise sponsorship money by registering on the DGR website, and turn up on the day in suitable (ie: civilised) attire.
The ride is not restricted to blokes - all genders welcome.
