The original Haywards Coachbuilders was dissolved on 5th June 1919, a hundred years ago.
Official Notice in The London Gazette:
"NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by John Charles Hayward and George Barker Hayward, under the style of G. & J. HAYWARD, at Queen-street, Haverhill, in the county of Suffolk, in the trade or business of Coachbuilders, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, and that the said business will be carried on by George Barker Hayward.— As witness our hands this fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen. JOHN CHARLES HAYWARD, GEORGE BARKER HAYWARD".
